BUCS - Championship League

1sts Imperial.jpg
Imperial - Trent Park

First competition of the year: Team 3rd! Millie finished 1st on her dressage horse and 2nd on her jumping horse, to place 3rd overall. Christine was 2nd on her dressage horse and finished 8th overall. Hannah just missed out on a rosette finishing 9th. Iona finished 1st on her jumping horse.

UCL - Lee Valley

Our Championship Team home competition at Lee Valley with some really cute horses!

Millie finished 1st on her jumping horse and 3rd overall. Christine finished 2nd on her jumping horse and 7th overall. Iona, in a turn of events from the previous competition finished 1st on her dressage horse and 8th overall. Hannah unfortunately did not place but contributed to the Team's 2nd place!

Royal Holloway - LGB

Unfortunately the team was reduced to only 3 members as Hannah was unable to attend... However, Iona finished 2nd in both tests and overall 6th. Millie  finished 2nd on her jumping horse but unfortunately just missed out on a rosette finishing 9th. Despite the cold and the rain, it was a lovely day at LGB Equestrian in Surrey with some really nice horses!

Reading - Wellington

Although this time Iona was unable to attend the competition, Hannah, Millie and Christine made their way to Wellington Riding School, where they finished Team 3rd despite only 3 members. Hannah finished 6th and Christine finished 8th individually. Although Millie did not place, she managed to qualify for regionals, which were to take place a few weeks later!

Regionals - Wellington

After Millie's amazing results during the year, she managed to qualify as an individual at Regionals. Her dressage went swimmingly as she performed a super test and finished 1st on her horse. Jumping was a little more difficult and didn't go to plan, but we remain extremely proud of her and hope that this feat will be repeated in the 2018-2019 season!

BUCS - Trophy League

2nds RVC.jpg

First competition of the year for an entirely new Trophy Team! Although they stood in a strong 2nd place after dressage, with Emily winning on her dressage horse, difficulties in the jumping round for all our riders caused the team to lose their head start... However, this made them stronger for the rest of the year.

Although the Trophy team was now sadly reduced to only 3 members, this didn't prevent them getting great individual results! Auriel finished 2nd on her dressage horse and 1st on her jumping horse to finish 2nd overall. Emily finished 1st and 2nd in dressage and jumping, to be 3rd. Sara was 2nd in both phases, with a lovely 8th place! Well done!

Imperial - Trent Park

Despite only three of them, Emily, Auriel and Sara managed to finish 3rd as a team! Emily did amazingly, winning on both her dressage and jumping horses, and won individually! Auriel was 1st on her dressage horse and 3rd individually. Sara performed some lovely tests and contributed to the team's great result.

KCL - Trent Park

This competition proved a little more difficult for the girls, despite Emily winning on her dressage horse and second on her jumping horse, finishing 7th individually. Auriel was 2nd on her jumping horse, and just missed out on a rosette, finishing 9th. Sara unfortunately didn't place, but she showed how much she had progressed in BUCS competitions throughout the year.
