Team trials 2018
Wednesday 2rd October
2pm - 4:30pm
Lee valley riding centre
Team trials will be hosted on Wednesday 3rd October in the afternoon at Lee Valley Riding Centre.
Trials will run a bit like a BUCS competition: you will have 5 minutes to warm up with an unknown horse and will then have to complete a short dressage test. Shortlisted riders will then be assessed jumping a short course on another horse.
Price per rider: £15
If you are interested, please fill out the following survey and register your interest in the Facebook Event here. There is only limited space and we will have to make a selection based on what you tell us, so make sure you provide details! Please don't exaggerate your level as the horses used at trials may not be adapted to your capabilities: our priority is for riders, horses and people on the ground to remain safe and sound!
We will be meeting in front of the Bloomsbury theatre (TBC) and make our way to Lee Valley on public transport: please bring a valid Oyster card/contactless card!

This week UCL celebrates Pride in Sport, something very dear to us all at UCL Horse Riding and UCL Fencing! Pride in Sport aims to tackle Homo/Bi/Trans-Phobias in sport and to create a welcoming environment for anybody to participate in the sports community at UCL regardless of gender or sexuality.
For the first time ever, the union have organised a Glittoris Sports night! We'll be teaming up with UCL Fencing, (we shot the charity naked calendar together so we're already very well acquainted, so we can't wait to see them again!)
Glittoris is one of our FAVE events at UCL! It's an LGBT+ event and we love to celebrate LGBT+ culture. *FREE ENTRY* for all UCL Students, staff and guests, plus other UK Students (with valid university students card (NUS/UNiDAYS not valid).
We are SO excited about this sports night- and we cant wait to see all you guys there to celebrate diversity and inclusivity! Let there be (sustainable) glitter!!!!
